With the expansion of decentralized, renewable energy sources and controllable loads, such as electromobility, the complexity of energy control is increasing. The 5Gain research project (03EI6018A), funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, has developed a solution to precisely this challenge with a total of nine project partners, especially when the need for grid expansion is to be minimized at the same time.

Due to the complexity of the content and structure of the project, the initiators of the project wanted an easy-to-understand overview that took all partner parties and overarching topics into account.
