Sustainability has long since ceased to be merely a matter of image. By 2026 at the latest, environmental responsibility, social justice (ESG criteria) and future-proof business practices will determine a company’s market viability. But how can this transformation be achieved? How can you develop a sustainable corporate strategy that combines economic success with environmental awareness?

The key lies in a structured, participatory process that views the economy and the environment not as opposites, but as a synergy.

The roadmap to a sustainable strategy

1. Current situation analysis & materiality matrix: Weeks 1–4.

Analyse your current carbon footprint, supply chains and resource consumption. Use a materiality analysis to determine which sustainability issues are most relevant to your core business and your stakeholders.

2. Defining a sustainable vision: Weeks 5–8.

Formulate a clear vision for the future. Where will your company stand in five or ten years’ time in terms of the circular economy, emissions reduction and social responsibility? Integrate these values firmly into your business model.

3. Embedding Measurable ESG Targets: Weeks 9–12.

4. Engaging staff and changing the culture: Ongoing.

A sustainable transformation can only succeed if it is embraced by the workforce. Integrate the new guidelines into day-to-day working practices and create opportunities for green initiatives to emerge from within the teams.

The challenge: Making the change visible

When you develop a sustainable corporate strategy, familiar processes often change. This can cause uncertainty amongst staff. A visual communication map helps to break down these barriers.

By mapping out your company’s ‘green journey’ – from current resource consumption through optimised processes to a clean future – we make the purpose of the change tangible for every individual. This motivates staff and ensures the necessary support across the whole team.

Are you faced with the task of making your processes sustainable and taking your workforce on this journey with you? Contact us – we’ll help you make your green roadmap visible to everyone.
