Raiffeisen-Volksbank eG, Aurich (RVB), in collaboration with the management consultancy Goldpark and DIALOGBILD, has developed its Vision 2030 and an accompanying mission statement. The aim is to be the first point of contact for the people of East Frisia and to ‘attract’ them by focusing on the core values of community, quality, technology and efficiency. As a trusted, active partner in life, RVB Aurich aims to provide guidance, connect people and foster communities that strengthen East Frisia as a shared home.

To mark the launch of the project, a dialog film was produced in which individual staff members describe their views on RVB Aurich and its future in short interviews.

Based on employee feedback, graphic recordings were created over a period of several months during workshops, which served as the basis for the final dialog picture.

At the heart of the dialog picture are the values compass and the employees. The compass illustrates, by way of example, a customer’s life journey – from early customer loyalty through to setting up her own business and planning for retirement. Throughout, she is accompanied and supported by her advisor at RVB Aurich.

Johann Kramer
Chairman of the Board

“Working with DIALOGBILD as part of our ‘RVB 2030’ strategy project was an exceptionally enriching experience for us. Together, we were able to visualise our mission, vision and strategic priorities in a way that literally speaks louder than a thousand words. It was particularly impressive how precisely DIALOGBILD managed to translate and present complex content and key messages in a single, vivid scene.

The innovative concept of actively involving employees in the process has not only opened up new perspectives but also enabled a completely new approach to our communication. Through the dialog picture, our vision was literally brought to life and presented in a colourful way – the result speaks for itself!

For us today, the dialog picture is a key tool for shaping our Vision 2030 together with employees and customers and for engaging in a sustainable dialog. It provides direction, fosters a sense of identification and inspires us to actively shape our future.

We would like to thank DIALOGBILD for the excellent collaboration and are happy to recommend this method of strategic work.”

Imke Fürsen
Authorised Signatory, Head of Corporate Development / Public Relations

“The dialog picture has proven to be a real asset in the context of our corporate development and strategic planning. Through DIALOGBILD’s clear visualisation, it is possible to present vision statements, complex content and key priorities in a way that is easy to understand. It motivates employees to participate actively, strengthens shared understanding within the team and accelerates the sustainable embedding of strategic goals within the company.

As a communication tool, the dialog picture effectively supports the implementation of our strategy: it promotes dialogue, creates transparency and provides guidance for the entire organisation.

The graphic recordings that accompany meetings and workshops and serve as visual minutes are also particularly valuable – discussions and outcomes are captured in a clear and comprehensible way and remain permanently visible.

For us, the dialog picture is an effective tool that significantly supports transformation, drives change and inspires us to talk about our future and actively shape it together.”

INDIVIDUAL SCENES AND THEIR MEANING

The compass centres on various members of staff. The magnets feature the bank’s values: fairness, transparency, reliability, honesty, trust, respect, partnership and sustainability. This symbolises the responsible use of technological capabilities and AI in line with these values.

Over a cup of tea, the elderly couple discuss estate planning with their adviser, who provides them with comprehensive information on the arrangements they should put in place.

Two employees are working together on the customer journey and integrating new process steps. Outdated ‘do-it-yourself’ processes (processes put together by employees themselves) are being phased out, whilst a member of the consortium is introducing new, simple standard processes.

The RVB employee advises her customers in person at an office in the Aurich branch, whilst her manager signals to her that she is allowed and expected to make use of her assigned responsibilities.
