Highly individual personal advice, uncomplicated and fast service, efficient processing, all in a modern working environment for employees - these are the essential characteristics of the "fast network bank in OWL", which VerbundVolksbank OWL eG has designed with its "Vision for the Future 2020". The cooperative regional bank in the East Westphalia-Lippe economic region has been growing for many years and is now one of the ten largest institutions of the 875 Volks- and Raiffeisenbanken in Germany. But we do not want to rest on our laurels. True to the motto "Standing still is regression", the Bank initiated the "Vision for the Future 2020" project and called on all employees to take part. The declared goal is to become even better for customers and to be the first point of contact in a digital world.
Shaping the future in the 21st century is a matter for everyone. Agile organizations, flat hierarchies, working in a network, cooperating instead of competing - all these developments are reflected in the "Vision 2020".
For this pioneering project, VerbundVolksbank OWL eG relied on its most important resource: its own employees, the experience and knowledge of each individual, curiosity, different perspectives, a variety of opinions and, above all, enthusiasm for a strong team.
It is precisely from this synthesis that DIALOGBILD developed the picture at the beginning of the that the project based on the vision and strategy of "Vision 2020". This made the complex ideas of the "fast network bank" understandable in a clear and comprehensible way. Almost all of the bank's employees literally got a picture of their employer's future at 20 roadshows, openly discussed their thoughts on the individual scenes and contributed further ideas to the creative process. The journey of the dialog picture across the business area was the starting point for many other uses of the picture - from its use in project group meetings and onboarding of new employees to the symbol of the bank's transformation and the far-reaching change process.

A change process such as the "fast network bank in OWL" can only work in a cooperative bank of our size with just under 1,000 employees if all employees are involved and enthusiastic at an early stage - both emotionally and professionally. The dialog picture has proved to be the ideal method and has led to a broad understanding and great encouragement of the vision and strategy. Discussions in the change process always found a common goal through the dialog picture, regardless of how different the opinions were at the beginning. The dialogue picture has a lasting impact on the work regarding strategy, and continues to remind us of the vision of the "fast network bank in OWL".

Process management at VerbundVolksbank OWL eG means self-organized work in agile, interdisciplinary teams. Each process team is responsible for a process cluster and decides on its own individual processes - holistically, from start to finish. Process design and optimization have thus been redefined.
