Tool & Machine Building
The machine building industry is a varied innovation driver: in the fields of electromobility, CO2-neutrality, energy effi ciency and industry 4.0.
However, changed customer demands, expert shortage, new geopolitical realities and growing protectionism lead to a tough price competition and endanger market entries and value chains. The high infl ation further causes intense price negotiations and heightens the pressure for transformation. Regionalization, automatization and the expansion of the product portfolio are the outcome.
But how do you communicate this transformation to your employees and colleagues?
DIALOGBILD visualizes complex topics, aiding in their effi cient and sustainable communication.
Presentations, strategies, process descriptions and even mission “statements“ are often text-heavy. This makes it challenging for employees and leaders to comprehend connections, understand the “dialog picture“ and implement changes. Join us on a journey of discovery through a visual communication world, promoting more dialog. Because “every strong image becomes reality“.
TARGET PICTURE OF THE MWS ORGANIZATION
Miele is the world's leading supplier of premium domestic appliances for kitchens, laundry and floorcare. In addition, there are air cleaners, washers and dryers for commercial use as well as washer-disinfectors and sterilizers for medical facilities and laboratories (Professional business division). Founded in 1899, the company operates 15 production sites, eight of which are in Germany.
In 2004, the Miele Value Creation System (MWS) was launched, which has been continuously developed over the years and is now a proven tool for improving processes and cooperation in production and administration, avoiding waste in the company and thus also increasing competitiveness.
Digitalization, sustainability and the Corona pandemic are comparatively new topics that have a major impact on Miele and require an adjustment of values, priorities and principles. In order to address these issues and challenges, the MWS organization has worked together with Dialogbild to develop a new target picture that identifies 14 focal points. It is the task of the MWS specialists to communicate this target picture to the employees in the plants and to fill it with concrete content. This could be, for example, new ways of working, the optimization of plants or the application of best-practice examples.
OUR THING
Sesotec GmbH is one of the leading specialists for foreign object detection and material sorting and operates worldwide with seven subsidiaries and approx. 540 employees. The company is headquartered in Schönbergin the Bavarian Forest.
In the course of a restructuring in 2018, Sesotec developed a new strategy. To ensure that the new strategy is understood and lived by all employees, the picture was rolled out to the workforce in workshops.
To support the workshops, DIALOGBILD produced a guideline which explains the background to the picture and explains the essential contents of the strategy on the basis of the scenes.
The Sesotec strategy is also explained to new employees and trainees using the dialog picture. This ensures that the dialog picture with the corporate strategy remains present in the company at all times, provides orientation and is lived.

LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES
SIG Combibloc is one of the world′s leading manufactures of industrial packaging and filling machines for beverages and consumables. One of the biggest reasons for success for this enterprise is a uniform and practised corporate culture. A big part of this culture is based on new leadership principles. The aim is to explain to the SIG management why theses principles were developed, how they fit to the overall strategy and how they can be concretely integrated into daily management practices.
Therefore, an international creative workshop was held in which actual scenes were sketched in real time by our illustrator. After that, the result of the workshop was finalized and colorized in the highest quality.
PROCESS VISION HOLZBRONN PLANT – FACTORY OF THE YEAR
HOMAG Plattenaufteiltechnik GmbH has installed a comprehensive production system in recent years. To this end, all processes were reviewed, optimised and streamlined. Today, production is so flexible that fluctuations in capacity utilisation of up to 30% can be absorbed at any time.
But what does the future hold? HOMAG has visualised its future process vision in a dialog picture. The dialog picture shows the connections between production principles, methods and values and their relationship to individual work tasks and individual positions. The aim is to create a common understanding of the changes that will take place over the next few years and to get all employees on board: Where do we want to go and what is our path? With the help of the dialog picture, the goals can be communicated in an understandable way and interactive exchange with employees can be promoted.

The bridge is supported by a stable Master Data Management foundation and other strategically oriented Kärcher projects. Challenges, fears and concerns are successfully overcome.

What was the objective of the picture?
The picture was for us the "driving force" of the communication process. We wanted to reach our employees at all levels. The aim was for all employees to discuss the picture in the context of workshops and thus get a better understanding for the contents. The slideshow complemented the picture acoustically and visually - like a kind of "resolution".

Our consulting and creation team had to implement the complex and technical attributes in a storyboard in such a way that it became informative but also charming in order to make it easier for customers to understand the attributes.
In the dialog movie the cylinder with positional transducer LiView is introduced first. What is LiView? How does it work? Where is it used? How will it be integrated? Subsequent to the introduction diverse application examples emphasize the benefits of that system. In the final scene the different benefits of the intelligent cylinder with positional transducer LiView will be illustrated again in a chart and presented by a friendly protagonist.
Since that time the movie is used to present products and give detailed information on the digital channels like the homepage of LIEBHERR as well as on Youtube.
